Cosmetology Program Coordinator
Location: Heber, UT
Status: Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday; 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
Pay/Salary: $60,620

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Cosmetology Program Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
Lead and coordinate program operations, ensuring student success in completion, licensure, and placement.
Develop and maintain lesson plans for both classroom instruction and practical lab activities.
Supervise and mentor students on the practical floor, ensuring a supportive and professional learning atmosphere.
Oversee instructional quality through teaching, classroom/lab support, and faculty coaching.
Supervise staff, including scheduling, onboarding, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with accreditation, curriculum standards, and institutional policies.
Manage salon operations, equipment, safety, and supply purchasing.
Support curriculum updates, program planning, and advisory committee activities.
Facilitate department meetings, training, and continuous improvement efforts.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking professionals who are passionate about education and leadership. Successful candidates will have:
Education Requirements: A high school diploma is required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of related industry experience with demonstrated leadership or teaching experience.
Licensure & Certification: Must have a current Cosmetology License and Cosmetology Instructor's License with ongoing professional development.
Organizational & Accountability: Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and program quality.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and learning/information systems such as Canvas.
Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
