Tanner Enger Farm Worker in HAzen, North Dakota

Temporary position from 02-01-2026to 11-28-2026 North Dakota Job Order 50 hours/week 18.98/hour Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm equipment to till soil; work ground; prepare and maintain land; and plant, fertilize, spray, cultivate, harvest, and transport crops to storage areas. Equipment that workers may be required to operate includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, air seeders, planters, combines, augers, and grain carts. Non CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Job also requires loading seed into planters; rouging fields and using hand tools to remove undesirable plant varieties, trash, and other objects from fields; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or cleanup of storage sheds, pivot points, buildings, gates, barns and all farm equipment; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; regularly servicing equipment; picking rocks from fields; receiving crop for storage at grain storage facility; transporting grain from fields to grain bins; loading and unloading grain into trucks while keeping grain level; operating augers and grain conveying equipment; and shoveling grain. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer. Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy skills are required. Employees will be sitting for long hours in tractors and employees must be able to lift 100 pounds since lifting is required around the worksite. Employees may be exposed to extreme temperatures in ND.
