About the Role
In this vital role, you will support the maintenance andoperation of the building systems inside a client facility. As a MaintenanceTechnician III you’ll be a key leader in running a shift and providing guidanceto fellow technicians and Automation Engineer support partners.
Your expertise will be utilized in the optimization andexecution of the preventive maintenance process, with a focus on maximizingequipment reliability and operational performance of equipment such asconveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, SCADAdevices and programs.
You will provide our client with expert-level supportbased on the technical problems related to their MHE systems.
What You’ll Do
‒ Repair, maintain, and continuously improvefunctionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systemsthroughout the facility.
‒ Lead and audit preventative maintenanceprocedures.
‒ Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladderdiagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches,proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
‒ Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair ofcritical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
‒ Build and close out work orders in a ComputerizedMaintenance Management System (CMMS).
‒ Cultivate positive working relationships with ourClient and Operations Maintenance team members.
‒ Promote a safe working environment by following allsafety procedures.
What You’ll Need
‒ Applicants mustbe currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visasponsorship now or in the future.
‒ High schooldiploma or general education degree (GED).
‒ 4+ years ofexperience working with automated conveyors and controls.
‒ Proficient usingcomputers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,etc.).
‒ Experience withMHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)and Safety standards.
‒ Knowledge ofelectrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/orindustrial electronics.
‒ Ability toconduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
‒ Experiencereading blueprints and schematics.
‒ Experience withProgrammable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
‒ 3+ years of workorder management.
‒ Ability to useand interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time toprioritize accordingly.
‒ Physicalrequirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders andability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50lbs. or more.
Preferred Qualifications
‒ BachelorsDegree with a focus in Electronic Technology or equivalent OR 2+ years ofequivalent professional experience
‒ Previous leadership experience.
‒ Previous vendor management experience.
‒ Experience with robotic maintenance.
‒ Experience with CMMS
‒ Certification preferred in one or more of thefollowing: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs,process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
