Job Description
The primary role of the Electro-Mechanical Tech is to provide competent and effective Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance support to the Plant and Facility operations in a safe manner. The Maintenance Electro-Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting, and repairing plant machinery to meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance support for plant operations.
Maintain, adjust, and repair plant machinery to meet industry standards.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment such as assembly lines, conveyors, forming, and mixing machines.
Follow work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including the use of all PPE and other safety equipment in an industrial environment.
Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, detect and replace defective items, and test and make final adjustments for high-speed production equipment.
Diagnose and repair all electrical functions.
Prioritize and triage in a fast-paced work environment.
Maintain equipment in accordance with diagrams and manufacturer's specifications while following preventative maintenance work orders and scheduled PMs.
Generate work orders and parts requests.
Use machine shop and other related machines as required to repair parts or fabricate modifications.
Complete work orders and PMs and the documentation for that work.
Use mechanical and pneumatic processes, including cylinders and glue machines, date coders.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and other appropriate equipment.
Maintain current GMP, Safety, Food Safety, and technical knowledge by actively participating in training.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in the manufacturing/production line industry as an experienced level maintenance technician.
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting.
Skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.
Experience with automated processes such as servo drives, kinetix drives, safety interlock systems, and HMI interface.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with OEMs such as Aagard palletizing, Cavanna packaging, Delta and Bosch wrappers, Delkor closers, and trayformers.
Ability to work on 3rd shift with flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shifts if needed.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed, following a 2-2-3 schedule.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $89440.00/yr.
