ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician - General Assembly in Hayward, California
Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicles, is seeking a Maintenance Technician - General Assembly to join their dedicated team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance Department supporting multiple operational sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician - General Assembly
Location: Hayward, California
Pay Range: $35-40/h + Benefits
What's the Job?
Support the creation and development of preventative maintenance procedures and standards under the supervision of the Equipment and Maintenance Manager
Work with equipment vendors to perform major maintenance procedures
Perform or manage maintenance on all vehicle assembly equipment
Respond to downtime events, equipment alarms, and production-related support requests
Perform root cause analysis on equipment and quality-related issues
What's Needed?
3 to 10 years of experience working with industrial automation, automotive shop equipment, automotive/aerospace assembly equipment, or equivalent
Strong electrical (12VDC to 480VAC) and mechanical knowledge
Basic knowledge of robotics, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, vehicle lifts, and DC tooling
Good computer skills and ability to read 2D and 3D prints and schematics
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and support multiple local operations sites (Hayward and Fremont)
