Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join our team in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the stack—developing intuitive mobile user experiences, building scalable backend services, and contributing to DevOps and cloud infrastructure in mission-critical, data-driven systems. A strong preference is given to candidates with experience in workforce management and/or healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain iOS and Android mobile applications used in workforce management and/or healthcare settings.
Build and support backend services and RESTful APIs that handle business-critical workflows and data.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and subject matter experts to translate complex operational requirements into usable software.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across front-end and back-end systems.
Contribute to cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in production environments.
Support the full mobile app lifecycle, including App Store and Google Play submissions.
Essential Skills
Professional experience developing iOS applications using Swift.
Professional experience developing Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
Solid backend development experience supporting production systems.
Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile app architecture patterns.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
Basic working knowledge of VB.NET or C#, including the ability to read, understand, and make minor updates to existing applications or services.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
Experience with or exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of the mobile app lifecycle and deployment processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
Familiarity with DevOps tooling, monitoring, or infrastructure-as-code.
Experience supporting high-availability or mission-critical applications.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in an office environment in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The position involves collaboration with various team members and stakeholders, and requires a balance of remote and in-office work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.10 - $62.50/hr.
