Customer Service RepresentativePOSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for the accurate and courteous processing of internal and external inquiries and requests. Work as customer service representative in person and over the phone for the Operations Dept, aiding in different payment channels such as wire, ACH, debit card, and checks, account inquiries, statement research, and electronic banking. This position will be responsible for courteous customer service when answering calls coming through the bank’s toll-free line and directing customers to the appropriate department.This position is 20-30 hours a week.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty proficiently. Must have the ability to type precisely using a keyboard /10-key. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent degree (GED). Two years banking experience preferred or equivalent. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or employee frequently is required to walk.
