PICC, LLC Hydroblasting Technician in Hattiesburg, Mississippi
The Hydroblasting Technician is a specialized industrial professional who uses ultra-high-pressure (UHP) water systems to clean, maintain and prepare surfaces in environments like refineries, power plants and shipyards.
- Equipment Operation: hands-on operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment (20,000 to 40,000 PSI) to remove paint, rust and heavy contaminants.
- Site preparation: setting up safety barricades and warning signs and identifying potential electrical hazards.
- Industrial maintenance: conducting routine maintenance on pumps, hoses and nozzles.
- Cleaning applications: precision cleaning on industrial components such as pipes, tanks, heat exchangers and boilers.
- Vacuum operations: operating industrial vacuum trucks to remove and dispose of debris and hazardous materials.
- Starting pay: $17/hr (negotiable based on experience.)
