$19.00 - $23.00/hour (based on experience)

Shift:

1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Overtime:

As needed (Fridays 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Shipping Clerk

to join our client's warehouse team. This role is responsible for coordinating outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order processing and maintaining proper documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Prepare and verify outgoing orders using invoices or purchase orders
• Packaging and Labeling: Pack items securely and label shipments accurately
• Shipping Coordination: Schedule shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx and freight companies
• Inventory Tracking: Update inventory systems to reflect shipped products
• Documentation: Maintain bills of lading, shipping records and tracking information
• Quality Checks: Inspect items for damage or discrepancies prior to shipment
• Customer Support: Assist with shipping-related questions or issues as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts preferred)
