Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days)
Essential Functions:
Load/unload/inspect/clean and pre-treat parts and assemblies in the paint area. Grind frames to print in the grinding room.
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Certifications:
- Forklift, if necessary
Quality Metric:
Scrap Dollars
Rejected or reworked ground parts
Minimum Qualifications
Must be able to pass respiratory physical
Introductory Level: Primary focus is learning the process
Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)

Basic understanding, support and commitment to the team and continuous improvement
Resolves the problems at the lowest level possible

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 months)
Demonstrate ability to set up and run basic operations in specific department(s) with assistance. Demonstrate ability to make minor adjustments on related machinery and/or equipment, with assistance. Able to properly inspect, load and unload the paint system (racks, trees, chain spacing, etc) Able to properly prepare parts for the paint system (sanding, plugging, eye bolts, etc) Able to inspect frames for pinholes, missing welds, etc. Understand and follow the work instructions and quality standards for the department Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced with assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements of the department. Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, windchill, Kanban and TKS’s).
