Staff Flooring Installer We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Flooring Installer to join our team. In this role, you won\'t just be \"laying floors\"- you?ll be the craftsman responsible for the foundation of a room\'s aesthetic. You will handle everything from site preparation to the final trim, ensuring every plank, tile, and carpet stretch meets our high standards of quality and durability. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Installation: Install a variety of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, LVP/LVT, and ceramic tile. Preparation: Remove old flooring, sand or grind subfloors, and apply leveling compounds to ensure a perfectly flat surface. Precision Work: Measure and cut materials accurately around obstacles like pipes, door frames, and transitions. Finishing Touches: Install baseboards, transition strips, and crown molding to provide a polished, professional look. Maintenance & Repair: Assess and repair existing floors, replacing damaged sections while matching original patterns and finishes. Site Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and properly disposing of hazardous materials. ________________________________________ Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional flooring installation experience. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of industry tools, including power saws, tile cutters, carpet stretchers, and pneumatic nailers. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, spend long periods kneeling, and perform repetitive manual tasks. Problem-Solving: A sharp eye for layout and you should be able to calculate the most efficient material usage and area calculations on the fly. Client Relations: Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when working in residential or commercial client spaces. ________________________________________ Why Join Us?
