Aerotek Production Associate in Harvard, Illinois

Job Title: Production Associate $20+hr

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Associate where you will play a key role in the packing and assembly processes. Your daily tasks will include packing products, light assembly work, loading boxes, and operating a tape machine. You will be part of a dynamic production line, ensuring the efficient packing and labeling of finished goods.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a production line packing finished goods.

  • Catch finished baked goods on trays.

  • Perform cleaning duties to maintain a tidy work area.

  • Label packages accurately.

  • Operate a tape machine and perform palletizing tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • No formal warehouse or forklift experience is required.

  • Ability to stand for 4 hours at a time.

  • Capacity to follow verbal instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is a plus.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

  • Six months or more of manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred.

Our facility is a state-of-the-art, 210,000 square foot space powered by solar panels. It is clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled, and certified for international shipment to over 12 countries. Dress code requires steel-toed boots, eye and ear protection, hard hats, and high-visibility neon vests or shirts. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harvard, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.50/hr.
