A well-established, mission-driven organization is hiring a Controller to lead accounting operations and partner closely with executive leadership. This is a high-impact role with tons of growth potential!
What You’ll Do:
Own all accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, payroll, month-end close)
Prepare and present financial statements; support budgeting and forecasting
Maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance
Manage audits and compliance for government-funded programs
Manage the annual audit process, including coordination with external auditors and review of audited financial statements and IRS Form 990.
Supervise and mentor a small accounting team
Partner with the CFO and present financials to leadership/Board
Support an upcoming ERP system conversion
Requirements:
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
Hands-on Controller experience
Experience with government-funded, contract-based, or regulated environments
