Job Summary
The Consultant, Pricing Solutions Analysis acts as a liaison between the organization's businesses and iPrice application development teams to align business strategies and capability needs and to ensure the iPrice system enables their desired value. This role identifies and analyzes business needs, defines requirements and objectives, and makes recommendations supporting as a subject matter expert (SME) on the iPrice system.
Responsibilities
Develop subject matter expertise of iPrice (a custom pricing application), business processes, and master data
Focus on continuous improvement to deliver solutions that improve profitability and customer experience
Elicit and document business requirements with stakeholders and subject matter experts
Convey business requirements to developers with appropriate level of detail
Perform functional and regression testing and facilitate user acceptance testing with business teams
Deliver timely and effective communication to stakeholders and impacted partners for progress updates and implementations
Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance
Collaborate with Salesforce Enablement and Learning Business Partners to develop training programs and job aids
Create and maintain documentation for team processes and supported applications including SOPs, user guides, and data catalogs
Maintain SQL Server and Oracle databases
Perform ad hoc analytics and database development to support applications and cross-functional teams
Identify, design, and implement process improvements by automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery for greater scalability
Qualifications
4+ years of experience, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Proven track record that demonstrates curiosity, creativity, innovation, and initiative
Strong communication skills in writing, speaking, presenting, and listening
Ability to efficiently project manage, organize, and prioritize tasks
Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools is preferred
Experience with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) applications or other Price Management software, preferred
Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server, including creating stored procedures, views, scripting, and automation, preferred
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), preferred
Experience managing projects that span both technical and non-technical teams, with an emphasis on engaging stakeholders and building business requirements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), preferred
Proficient in creating comprehensive, user‑friendly documentation that communicates pricing workflows, business logic, and standard procedures across cross‑functional teams.
Established background in launching software or services in partnership with and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, and understanding of development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Kanban), preferred
Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and working with structured/unstructured data, preferred
Location: This position can be remote and based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be able to work within the EST or CST business hours.
Anticipated salary range : $80,900 - $115,500
