Job Description:
Allen East Local Schools is looking for experienced and motivated special educational aides to join our special education team.
Position:
Special Educational Aide (Multiple Positions)
Qualifications:
·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Hold/obtain an aide license per the Ohio Department of Education
·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Up-to-date BCI/FBI background check
·[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Candidates must be positive, creative, and collaborative, having the mindset to put kids first
Responsibilities:
- The special education candidate will be responsible for working one-on-one, in small and or large group settings with special needs students.
- The candidate will monitor student behavior, track educational progress, and communicate with classroom teachers and/or parents of the student(s).
Assist the teacher with implementation of students' Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
