Allen East Local Schools HS Principal in Harrod, Ohio
Position: High School Principal (9-12)
Details: Responsible for approximately 300 students and 19 teachers.
Allen East employs a full-time athletic director and full-time special education director so the high school principal can have more focus on the operation of the high school.
Contract Details:
- 260 Day Contract with 40 vacations days and 4 personal days
- STRS pick-up on pickup
- 100% Board Paid Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance
$1,100 Board Paid Flex Spending Plan for Medical
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Department of Education Principal License for Grades 9-12
- Strong technology skills, including experience with Schoology as a Learning Management System. Familiarity with Digital Academy platforms and online learning environments is preferred.
- Demonstrates ability to make data driven decisions and solve problems. Outstanding
- communication skills (written and verbal) and demonstrated ability to relate well with all levels of staff members, students, parents, and community members
- Ability to evaluate teachers using the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System 2.0.
- Knowledge of special education programs
- Working knowledge of the Ohio assessment program
- Able to develop a master schedule
