Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician Job Description
Join a leading poultry processing plant as a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician. We are seeking motivated individuals to perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and Allen Bradley PLC systems. This role offers opportunities for growth and development within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct preventative maintenance on Allen Bradley PLC systems and industrial equipment.
Perform building maintenance as required.
Execute machine adjustments, pumps, and rebuilds in the EVIS area.
Manage conveyors, electronic run machines, and cutting machines in Further Processing.
Engage in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Develop welding skills and perform welding tasks.
Essential Skills
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience OR completion of a trades certificate or program.
Experience with industrial equipment maintenance.
Exposure to electrical, mechanical, and welding tasks.
Knowledge of PLC systems is highly advantageous.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with conveyor systems.
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to learn and improve welding skills.

Work Environment
Work within a poultry plant setting that is cold and wet. The management team is supportive and provides opportunities for career advancement. Shift differentials are offered with $2/hr for 3rd shift (10p-6a) and $1/hr for 2nd shift (2p-10p).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisonburg, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
