Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Pay : $28-$35/hour
Location : Harrisburg PA

Schedule : 6:30am - 5pm (Thursday - Sunday OR Saturday - Tuesday)
Job Description
You will be responsible for maintaining the industrial machining equipment for this company based in Harrisburg, PA. Having 3+ years of electro and mechanical maintenance knowledge in a dirty and loud environment are a requirement. You will be working with old machinery, repairing hydraulics, troubleshooting, completing minor plumbing and even overhead door repairs. Majority of the machines and equipment at this shop are operated on hydraulics, very few electrical and pneumatic systems.
Schedule is Weekend Shift - Thursday to Sunday 630am - 5pm.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mainline equipment.
Maintain and repair overhead doors, lighting, hoists, and parts handling systems.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders, valves, and related components.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on various equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Work on DC drives, AC frequency drives, programmable controllers, and personal computers.
Utilize machine shop and welding/fabrication skills to perform repairs and equipment improvements.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and use a multimeter for troubleshooting 480V and control wiring.
Proficiency in mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, gears, pulleys, drives, chains, and motors.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial maintenance.
Ability to read both blueprints and schematics.
Two years of experience in electrical work, including AC/DC drives and VFDs

This is a Permanent position based out of Harrisburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00/yr.
Opportunity for OT Direct hire Benefits - Medical, dental, vision, and 401K match 50% up to the first 3% Vacation - 1st year is prorated up to 10 days and 2nd year get 80 hours and increase after certain marks of service 11 holidays - 1 floating Perfect attendance award for additional days off Have something in place called the step program which is a pay advancement program where if someone isn't at the mid point of pay they will get increases every 3 months till they reach it and then received yearly merit increases For overtime - all hours over 40 are counted as OT no matter if it was vacation, holiday etc. Huge selling point as not many companies do this.
