Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on transforming residential properties into modern, livable spaces by performing upgrades, repairs, and cosmetic improvements across both interiors and exteriors. You will use a broad range of maintenance and construction skills to support renovation projects while ensuring high-quality workmanship and a safe, organized job site.
Responsibilities
Execute interior and exterior renovations across assigned residential properties.
Install and repair drywall, flooring, doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and trim with a high standard of quality.
Assist with painting, plumbing, and light electrical tasks as part of renovation and upgrade projects.
Troubleshoot structural, mechanical, HVAC, and drainage issues that arise during remodels and repairs.
Perform basic appliance repair and service as needed to support property readiness.
Apply carpentry skills to framing, repairs, and finish work in residential construction settings.
Collaborate closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site at all times and follow safety procedures.
Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials required for renovation projects.
Document work performed accurately and communicate progress and issues on a daily basis.
Provide occasional support with routine property maintenance when required.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience as a maintenance technician, renovation technician, or in a similar property maintenance role.
Proficiency with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting at a light to moderate level.
Strong carpentry skills, including drywall installation and repair, framing, and finish work.
Experience with residential construction, including interior and exterior renovations.
Ability to perform drywall, flooring, door, window, cabinet, fixture, and trim installation and repair.
Capability to assist with painting, minor plumbing, and light electrical tasks safely and effectively.
Skill in appliance repair and basic service for common residential appliances.
Strong troubleshooting abilities for structural and mechanical issues encountered during remodels.
Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Good communication skills to document work performed and provide daily progress updates.
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with renovation techniques, building materials, and residential construction practices.
Comfort working in active remodel environments with multiple trades and ongoing work.
Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail in workmanship and finishes.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented culture.
Organizational skills to manage tools, materials, and multiple tasks across properties.
Reliability and flexibility to support occasional on-call needs, with compensation when deployed.

Work Environment

Hours offer some flexibility to accommodate personal and family needs, and occasional on-call work is available but not mandatory, with compensation when you respond to calls.

This is a Permanent position based out of Harrisburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
