Job Title: Appliance Technician
Job Description
Execute the installation and repair of HVAC systems, hood systems, refrigeration systems, and food service equipment. Install new equipment for rollouts of new menu items.
Responsibilities
Install and troubleshoot mechanical equipment, including refrigeration units, HVAC units, duct work, food service equipment, hood systems, and shelving according to action plans and quality standards.
Balance HVAC systems, fryer hood, and dishwasher hood.
Complete preventative maintenance tasks, including basic sanitary wipe downs of appliances and food service equipment.
Complete accurate paperwork, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, and preventative maintenance checklists.
Barcode and document equipment for tracking warranties, analyzing reliability, maintenance issues, and providing technical support.
Complete all assigned work in a timely and efficient manner according to company standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum 2-year hands-on training experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or a related trade required without a skilled trade
Valid Driver’s license required
Universal 608 EPA certification
Proficient with hand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.)
Proficient with power hand tools (saws, drill press, grinders, sanders, etc.)
Proficient with pneumatic tools (compressor, nailer, stapler, etc.)
Proficient with welding tools (torch, plasma cutter, welder, etc.)
Proficient with motorized equipment (generators, pressure washer, forklift, etc.)
Experience with HVAC gauges and specialized equipment

Work Environment
Work a Monday-Friday schedule from 6 am to 3:30 pm, with expected overtime up to 50 hours per week. This is a mobile role requiring travel within a 1-2 mile radius of Harrisburg, PA. Technicians will be entering active stores and working around customers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
