Overview: Garnet Health Catskills is seeking Environmental Service Workers.

An Environmental Services Worker is an ancillary employee who, under the direct supervision of the Environmental Supervisor, performs manual housekeeping duties in an orderly and sanitary manner for the purpose of maintaining the Hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition, to provide a suitable environment for the care of patients, visitors and for the work of the Hospital staff.

Requirements: High school diploma or Equivalent Reference Check Physical Exam

Position will primarily be light work requiring lifting up to 25 pounds with occasional lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Occasional bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling and reaching is required. Requires 100% standing or walking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by spoken word is required.

Shift, Salary, and benefits. This is a full-time position, Shift varies, $17.94 to $18.47 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, holidays, and retirement.
