Insight Global Maintenance Technician in Hardeeville, South Carolina

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a rapidly growing manufacturing client in the energy and power infrastructure space. Day to day, this individual will support a brand‑new production facility by diagnosing equipment failures, determining root causes, and performing corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. They will complete scheduled PMs such as lubrication, inspection, calibration, and part replacement; support the installation and setup of new machinery; and collaborate with operators, technicians, and leadership to resolve recurring issues and improve equipment reliability. This role also involves maintaining accurate records in a CMMS, managing spare parts and maintenance inventory, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards, while helping keep the facility clean, organized, and operating at peak performance.

Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or GED required

1–3 years of experience in machinery maintenance or a related role. (Mechanical Systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial machinery)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate material handling equipment Bilingual (Mandarin strongly preferred)

Prior experience OSHA standards is a plus

Experience in startup or greenfield manufacturing environments

Familiarity with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance tasks

Forklift or scissor lift certification

Basic welding or fabrication experience

Knowledge of LOTO, 5S, and preventative maintenance programs

Experience supporting high‑volume manufacturing equipment
