Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive approach to teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Location: Hanover, PA
Pay Range: $18 to $21
Shift: 1st
What's the Job?
Set up and operate punch presses to cut, shape, and form sheet metal according to drawings and specifications.
Read blueprints, calipers, and tape measures to ensure precision and accuracy in production.
Perform daily maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure optimal operation.
Program CNC punch presses and adjust settings for material and die clearance.
Verify work quality using measurement devices and ensure compliance with tolerance requirements.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 1 year of experience in punch press operations or related manufacturing roles.
Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges.
Knowledge of punch press tooling and material limitations.
Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
