Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will utilize a forklift, mostly standing with some sitting, to move materials for various purposes including loading trailers/flatbeds, transferring materials to/from the production area, and managing inventory. You will also operate a high-reach truck to access materials from high shelves and use RF scanners and tracking systems. This role involves working from manufacturing information such as material lists, requisitions, and both written and oral instructions. You will prepare shipments of completed equipment, accessories, and service parts, ensuring that all parts are properly loaded for shipment. Additionally, you will load, unload, and move materials as required, and check the quality of materials and workmanship to verify conformance to standards. You will be responsible for the quality of finished work and maintaining required records and documents.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and high-reach trucks for material movement.
Use RF scanner and tracking systems to manage inventory.
Work from manufacturing information, including material lists and requisitions.
Prepare shipments of completed equipment, accessories, and service parts.
Load, unload, and move materials as required.
Check the quality of material and workmanship.
Maintain required records and documents.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating forklifts and high-reach trucks.
Experience with RF scanner and similar equipment.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Material handling and inventory management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with both forklift and high-reach is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
