Job Title: Industrial Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic with a background in industrial or commercial settings and a well-rounded mechanical aptitude. The role involves breakdown, repairing, replacing, or installing industrial maintenance equipment and machinery, including tasks such as tear down, staging, set up, assembly, and disassembly. You will also assist with conveyer systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and the construction of structures for housing watercraft vehicles for water operations.
Responsibilities
Perform breakdown, repair, replacement, and installation of industrial maintenance equipment and machinery.
Conduct tear down, staging, set up, assembly, and disassembly tasks.
Assist with conveyer systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Build structures for housing watercraft vehicles for water operations.
Troubleshoot and maintain various mechanical systems.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience as a maintenance technician.
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Industrial mechanical and electrical qualifications.
Experience working in industrial environments.

Work Environment
The work is conducted indoors in a large, brand-new, clean facility at Huntington Ingles. Standard working hours are from 6 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with most Saturdays required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
