JAH Group Corp dba Rooted Hospitality Group is seeking to fill sixteen (16) temporary, full-time peakload Line Cook positions for April 1, 2026 to October 5, 2026. Worksite: 43 CANOE PLACE ROAD, HAMPTON BAYS, NY 11946 and multiple sites in Suffolk County in NY. Job Duties: Prepare, saut, garnish, cook such items as meats, seafood, vegetables, poultry, and soups pursuant to recipes. Wash, peel, and cut vegetables, fruits, and seafood. Wash pots, pans, dishware. Keep kitchen areas clean and sanitized. Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. Follow the closing checklist to clean and organize kitchen stations, assisting others as needed. Four locations are:258 East Montauk Hwy, Hampton Bays NY 1194643 Canoe Place Road, Hampton bays NY 11946149 Main Street, Westhampton Beach NY 119786 Parlato Dr, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 Requirements: No education or experience required. Special Requirements: Must be able to lift, pull, push or carry up to 25 lbs or more, and walk or stand for long periods of time. Ability to reach above your head, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be available to work split-shifts, nights, weekends, & holidays as needed. Overtime possible. Days vary Monday - Sunday. Rotating shifts 7am-1am. Terms and conditions of employment: $20.82 - $26.00/hour, 40 hours/week, Overtime available at $31.23 - $39.00 per hour. Must be able to work a minimum 5-day workweek. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. May rotate/split shifts Work Days: Vary Mon-Sun, rotating shifts 7am-1am. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid weekly on Tuesday. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. The employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law and no others without worker consent. Potential elective deductions to be pre-authorized in writing if applicable are as follows: If requested, employer helps non-local workers secure optional worker-paid lodging. Employer will offer bikes for daily transportation for non-local workers. Employer provide 3 chef coats, hats and aprons throughout the season as needed at no cost to the worker. Employer will reimburse up to $80 for any additional attire needs for the season (non-slip shoes, additional coats, etc.). Additional uniforms are available for purchase by the worker and may be payroll deducted. Such purchases are optional and for the workers benefit. Employer provides meals at the end of the PM shifts at no cost to the worker. Employer offers discounted fitness classes and health and wellness classes. Optional team activity events offered for no cost or low cost depending on the event. The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with ano
