Description
Robert Half is seeking a dynamic Office Manager to be the backbone of our South Jersey client’s operations. In this pivotal role, you’ll keep the office running like a well‑oiled machine while providing essential accounting support. We’re looking for a detail‑driven multitasker who thrives on organization, communicates with confidence, and anticipates needs before they arise. The ideal candidate is QuickBooks‑savvy, solutions‑oriented, and ready to take ownership of daily operations with energy and precision.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and organization.
Create and manage estimates, proposals, and other correspondence.
Maintain comprehensive filing systems for both physical and digital records.
Utilize QuickBooks to handle accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting.
Process invoices weekly for residential and builder accounts with accuracy.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and prepare sales and use tax filings.
Coordinate installation schedules for closet and glass projects, ensuring timely preparation of installer files and materials.
Identify and resolve challenges independently while prioritizing tasks effectively.
Requirements
The ideal Office Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
Other requirements for the Office Manager position include and are not limited to:
2+ years Office Manager, Front-office, or admin experience.
Experience with QuickBooks and general accounting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
