Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
The outpatient LPN position duties include but are not limited to:
Provides direct nursing care to clients receiving treatment for mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or medical illness.
Responsible for performing individualized direct client care.
Performs standard nursing services, which may include the following: administering prescribed medications, performing injections, maintaining documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), administering screenings, tests, and other required labs, conducting assessments and screens for new clients.
Participates as an active member of an inter-disciplinary Treatment Team.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position will be filled as a part-time Classified WAE, limited to no more than 1,245 working hours in a 12-month period.
Career Progression:This position may be filled as an LPN 1, 2, or 3 depending on the qualifications of the selected applicant.
Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care.
