Carolina Contracting & Management Forestry Worker in Hamlet, North Carolina

Work sites will begin in Richmond County, North Carolina and continue into the states of SC,GA, FL, ME, PA, NH, NH, VA, MD, MA,and NY.
Transportation to and from the worksites will be provided at no cost to the worker.
Duties: Dig holes, sort and plant seedling trees, carefully secure seedling with soil and maintain seedling growth by spray, hand prune, maintain surrounding vegetation, pile/remove debris, identify undesirable trees and remove them, thin and space trees with the use of power saws and hand saws. Maintain tallies of trees examined, gather/ package forest products. Job duties require moving your entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials. Extensive walking through forest terrain.
No education required. Must have 3 months exp. w/ brushsaw/chainsaw. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
Work Hours: Work schedule 7 hrs/day, M-F, 35 hrs/wk, 8 AM to 3 PM. Possible holiday/weekend work at r. $18.22/hr up to possible $25.18/hr. Overtime wage $27.33/hr up to possible $37.77/hr. Depending on Experience. The wage offered equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $16.28/day without receipts or up to $68/day with receipts.
