As part of the HR Technology Consulting Practice’s leadership team, the Associate Partner, SuccessFactors Consulting will play a critical role in driving the growth, delivery excellence, and talent development of the practice.
Your role and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (End-to-End Deal Ownership): Own the full lifecycle of deal origination and closure, from opportunity identification through signature. This includes shaping and solutioning complex HR transformation programs, developing compelling proposals and executive pitches, navigating IBM’s internal approval processes, and driving negotiations to close. Build trusted executive-level client relationships and contribute directly to practice revenue growth.
Alliance & Internal Ecosystem Leadership: Maintain and grow strong relationships with SAP SuccessFactors and their sales teams to build pipeline, co-sell effectively, and align on joint account strategies. In parallel, build internal partnerships across IBM (including industry and sector teams, and adjacent practices like our SAP Practice) to originate opportunities, assemble winning teams, and deliver integrated offerings that improve win rates and client outcomes.
Delivery Leadership: Provide executive oversight across SuccessFactors programs, whether self-originated or assigned. Ensure strong governance, financial performance, risk management, and delivery excellence. Act as an escalation point for complex client situations and maintain accountability for client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
People & Practice Leadership: Lead and develop consulting talent within the practice. Drive capability growth, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning. Contribute to practice strategy, operational discipline, recruiting efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen IBM Canada’s SuccessFactors market position.
While most work is delivered remotely, the role requires flexibility to travel up to 5 days per week, depending on client needs.
Hybrid roles are expected to perform their primary duties from a combination of IBM location, client sites or work at home. The required number of days to be in the office is to be determined by your management team. Any changes to this work arrangement must be preapproved by your manager before any changes are made.
Required technical and professional expertise
Extensive experience in SuccessFactors consulting, with latest role at the Senior Manager or Director level.
Proven experience carrying and achieving personal sales and revenue targets.
Strong executive presence with experience engaging CHRO, CIO, and VP-level stakeholders.
Experience leading large-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
Demonstrated accountability for delivery margin and financial performance across a portfolio of engagements.
Experience managing and developing consulting teams, including performance management and talent development.
Established relationships within the SAP SuccessFactors ecosystem in Canada.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Bilingual (English and French).
