*Position Summary:   * The Transportation Manager oversees all operations involved in transporting individuals served to and from programming. This position includes direct supervision of Transportation Specialists, coordination with the Facilities Director for vehicle maintenance, contract and software system maintenance, and covering routes as needed.  *Job Responsibilities:  *

  • Supervise Transportation Specialists, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. 
  • Coordinate transportation schedules and routes, providing coverage during absences and vacations. 
  • Ownership and maintenance of Enterprise contract and internal software system. 
  • Transport individuals with disabilities to and from programs and work sites as needed. 
  • Assist individuals with entering and exiting vans. 
  • Perform external maintenance checks daily on vehicles and report needed maintenance to the Facilities Manager. 
  • Maintain accurate records of individuals served, including attendance and transportation logs. 
  • Observe and report any information that might affect service to individuals served. 
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Director on all vehicle maintenance and repairs.
