Summary: As a RF Engineer at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will Support the Tunable Filters team in the design, analysis, validation, and maintenance of current and legacy filter products. Additionally, you will assist senior engineers with process documentation, knowledge transfer, and management of obsolete component redesigns to ensure continuity of production, product performance, and seamless integration of updated designs. Primary Responsibilities: Assist senior engineers in documenting work instructions, processes, and design requirements for Tunable Filter and RF assemblies, including drawings, schematics, and BOM packages. Support knowledge transfer and learning in Tunable Filter subject matter expertise (SME) under mentorship. Assist in redesign efforts for assemblies impacted by obsolete components, ensuring updated designs are verified and implemented under guidance of senior engineers. Support production and test activities, including troubleshooting, validation, and alignment of RF assemblies. Participate in RF simulations and analysis using tools such as AWR Microwave Office or PADS Designer. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary internal and external teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and product quality. Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include: Understanding of RF filter fundamentals and assembly design, analysis, and validation principles. Familiarity with design documentation, including drawings, schematics, and BOM packages. Understanding of component obsolescence challenges and redesign support. Knowledge of and ability to use RF test and measurement equipment for validation and troubleshooting of RF assemblies. Experience or familiarity with RF simulation and design tools (AWR Microwave Office, PADS Designer). Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and communication abilities. Requirements Include: Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or permanent resident). BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) with 1-3 years of experience. Entry-level experience with RF filters, test equipment, or lab support is desirable. Willingness to learn military standards, electro-mechanical designs, and production processes.
