Summary: As a RF Engineer at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will design, analyze, and validate co-site mitigation equipment for military communication systems. Responsibilities include development of CCA modules such as Radio Interface, Digital Control, AC/DC and DC/DC Power Supplies, Path Selectors, Tunable Filter Cascades, and Power Amplifiers. Designs operate from 30 MHz to 2 GHz with power levels up to 200 Watts CW. Primary Responsibilities: Design high-performance RF products optimized for low loss, high linearity, EMI/EMC compliance, thermal performance, reliability, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles Design RF filters, amplifiers, impedance matching networks, and supporting circuitry; evaluate performance trade-offs Execute Design Verification Testing (DVT) as part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process Partner with PCB Design, Digital Design Engineering, and Software Engineering teams to ensure proper RF layout implementation, hardware-to-firmware integration, and production test software alignment Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include: Experience designing co-site mitigation and/or military radio equipment Demonstrated technical project leadership capability Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as AWR Microwave Office (or equivalent) Ability to collaborate effectively across product lines, departments, and sites, and communicate complex technical information clearly to internal teams and external customers Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate performance trade-offs in RF systems Requirements Include: Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or permanent resident). BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) with 3-5 years of experience. Entry-level experience with RF filters, test equipment, or lab support is desirable Benefits of joining our team!
