Robert Half PO Specialist in Hamilton, Ohio
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented PO Specialist to support a busy procurement team in Hamilton, Ohio. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can work quickly and accurately while handling invoice and purchase order information. The person in this role will help keep financial documents organized, route transactions correctly, and communicate with internal or external contacts when details are missing.
Responsibilities:
• Review invoices and purchase orders to verify key details and ensure information is recorded accurately
• Enter and transfer data between documents and tracking systems with a high level of precision
• Assist with invoice handling by identifying transactions that still need assignment and updating them appropriately
• Investigate missing or unclear information by reaching out to farm contacts and other stakeholders for clarification
• Maintain organized records of procurement and invoice activity to support daily operations
• Work closely with the procurement team to help process time-sensitive transaction volume efficiently Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in invoice processing, purchasing support, or a related accounting clerk function
• Practical knowledge of purchase orders, invoice review, and data entry procedures
• Experience working with accounts receivable or closely related financial documentation
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in invoices and transaction records
• Comfortable managing routine follow-up with internal teams and external contacts to obtain missing information
• Ability to prioritize urgent tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced contract assignment
