United Performance Metal's rapidly growing Advanced Solutions Center is looking to add a Milling Operator to their 2nd and weekend shift teams. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Starting Wage: $23 - $25, depending on experience
2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am
Weekend Shift Hours: Friday - Sunday 5:00am - 5:30pm
Location: Hamilton, OH, On-site
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days
As an operator, you will:
Work closely with customer manufacturing specifications to ensure accurate machine programming.
Set up, troubleshoot, and operate machines such as surface grinders, EDMs, and Mills a ccording to strict tolerances.
Examine and measure completed units, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors
Exercise strong problem-solving ability for the inspection and repair of machinery
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience for Success:
2+ years of experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools, and machines
Ability to proficiently set up and use measuring equipment including CMM, CAD-CAM, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Calipers, Profilometers, etc.
Expert in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches
Ability to create and maintain updated work processes related to machining
Familiar with warehouse, manufacturing, or production planning environments
