Our client, an industry leader in energy solutions, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Power Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Power Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting project development, design, and operational excellence. Job Title: Senior Power Electrical Engineer
Location: Mays Landing, New Jersey
Pay Range: $140,000 - $165,000
What's the Job?
Apply advanced design knowledge in power distribution, control systems, and equipment specification and selection to support project objectives.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, construction project managers, and clients to ensure project success.
Perform detailed engineering and design tasks, including preparing drawings, specifications, and calculations for electrical systems.
Oversee procurement processes, evaluate bids, and provide technical and commercial oversight of major electrical equipment in support of EPC contracts.
Support startup, testing, troubleshooting, and performance upgrades of electrical systems to optimize plant operations and reliability.
What's Needed?
A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
Approximately 10 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or power engineering environments.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
PE license is preferred but not mandatory; active pursuit is acceptable.
