Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operator to work in Hallock, MN. From: 12/01/2025 to 08/31/2026. Work: 51 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 9 hrs./day, Sat. 4 hrs./day, Sun. 2 hrs./day, 7:30am-5:00pm Workers will be paid overtime in accordance with Minnesota Statute 177, specifically 177.25 Subdivision 1 and/or 177.23 Subdivision 7(2) and handled with the Safe and Sick time effective January 1, 2024. JOB DUTIES: We are a farm that grows sugar beets. Job duties may include machine prep and repairs. Help with planting and spraying the crop. Snow removal during the winter months in the farm yards. Apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc. Attach/detach implements; clean work areas; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; inform farm managers of plants or crops progress; maintain inventory; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; record information about crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, GPS guidance systems, forklift, pickups, cars, planters, self-propelled machinery, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, tillage equipment, tractors, etc. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farm s operation. Employer may, at the company's sole discretion, pay workers more depending on how many years of experience they have obtained by working for the employer or other factors such as job performance, skill, punctuality, licensing, training, prior work experience, etc. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
