Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. This position involves a variety of tasks including assembly, transportation, general cleaning, and basic maintenance projects, all within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble various items such as shelving, furniture, and equipment.
Transport toolboxes, equipment, and parts between buildings as needed.
Perform general cleaning of both interior and exterior facilities.
Assist with snow removal during winter months.
Apply basic maintenance, equipment, and tooling skills to assist with projects.
Perform carpentry and finishing tasks.
Work comfortably at heights up to 60 feet.
Conduct painting tasks using spray, roller, and brush methods.
Essential Skills
Experience in plumbing, HVAC, drywall, carpentry, and general commercial facilities maintenance.
Proficiency in commercial painting using spray, roller, and brush techniques.
Ability to perform building and facilities maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
General construction and maintenance experience.
Carpentry and commercial electrician experience.
Skill in assembling furniture.
Ability to use hand tools effectively.
Experience with aerial lift and mobile work platform equipment for heights up to 60 feet.
Must maintain a clean driving record and have the ability to obtain DOT clearance to operate a company vehicle.

Work Environment
You will work both inside hangars and outside, including snow removal. Engage in diverse projects such as conference room remodels, hangar maintenance, and grounds upkeep. The work schedule is four 10-hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday, 5 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Occasionally, regional travel may be required, accounting for approximately 5% to 10% of your time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
