Amentum ICITAP Procurements Coordinator in Hagatna, Guam
The Department of Justice’s International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (DOJ/ICITAP), in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Agency (DHS/TSA) is implementing the Global Bolstering Aviation Security program, to improve aviation security (AVSEC) globally and secure international trade and travel routes from exploitation by terrorist or illicit actors.
Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Procurements Coordinator. This role will assist in procurement efforts and provide logistical support when necessary.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Address supply chain disruptions, manage supplier relationships, and make strategic decisions to maintain adherence to equipment requests and standards.
Work with subcontractors and enter purchase requisitions.
Identifying opportunities for process enhancements to optimize supply chain performance.
Building and managing effective vendor relationships.
Complete associated reports and trackers including travel budgets where necessary.
Travel to select locations to ensure preparations are complete and oversee procurement logistics.
Providing logistical support to HQ and stakeholders when necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, supply chain management, or related field; preferred Master’s degree.
Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with vendors, partner governments, foreign officials, and international organizations.
Ten years of professional experience in security operations, assessments, or enforcement.
Proven ability to analyze complex logistical problems and provide solutions.
Experience preparing high quality written assessments, analytical products, and briefings for senior audiences with a focus on assessing current security capabilities, limitations, and gaps.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with foreign assistance projects and USG processes to include interagency agreements
Experience engaging regional and international partners, including the United Nations
