Vontier Head of Franchise Sales in Hagatna, Guam

INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities)

The Head of Franchise Sales is a key senior leader responsible for driving the growth, performance, and long‑term success of our franchise network. This role requires a highly strategic, forward‑thinking leader with deep expertise in franchise development, sales leadership, and organizational influence. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of scaling franchise systems, elevating sales performance, shaping culture, and building strong, trust‑based relationships with prospective franchisees and cross‑functional leaders. This individual will set the vision, lead high‑impact teams, innovate the franchise sales strategy, and serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on franchise growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Develop, refine, and execute an enterprise‑level franchise sales strategy that accelerates national expansion while upholding brand standards.

  • Serve as the senior thought leader on franchise growth, providing insights, recommendations, and strategic planning support to executive leadership.

  • Identify emerging market trends and competitive opportunities to shape long‑range growth initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and elevate a high‑performing franchise sales organization; set KPIs, drive accountability, and cultivate a culture of excellence.

  • Build team capability through mentorship, performance development, and strategic talent acquisition.

  • Champion cultural transformation within the sales organization and across the franchise ecosystem.

Pipeline & Market Growth

  • Oversee the design and execution of advanced lead‑generation strategies through marketing, industry partnerships, and national events.

  • Ensure a healthy, sustainable pipeline of qualified franchise candidates aligned with company growth objectives.

Franchise Candidate Engagement

  • Oversee the full franchise sales lifecycle from initial inquiry through qualification, discovery, due diligence, FDD delivery, negotiation, and closure.

  • Ensure all engagement reflects brand standards, regulatory compliance, and a best‑in‑class candidate experience.

Cross‑Functional Executive Collaboration

  • Partner closely with senior leaders across Marketing, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Training to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and optimize the franchisee journey.

  • Lead cross‑functional alignment initiatives that remove barriers and support organizational growth.

Business Intelligence, Reporting & Analytics

  • Deliver timely, data‑driven reporting, forecasting, and performance insights to senior leadership.

  • Leverage analytics to guide decision‑making, refine tactics, and continuously improve franchise sales effectiveness.

Franchisee Relationship Leadership

  • Serve as a senior‑level trusted advisor to prospective franchisees, enhancing confidence, engagement, and long‑term partnership potential.

  • Ensure a smooth transition from candidate to franchisee, supporting onboarding in collaboration with Operations and Training.

WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive franchise sales or business development leadership within a franchise or multi‑unit environment.

  • Demonstrated success in driving significant franchise network expansion and exceeding aggressive sales targets.

  • Exceptional senior leadership skills with experience building, motivating, and developing high‑performing sales teams.

  • Advanced communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.

  • Deep expertise in franchise development, including legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks (FDD, franchise agreements, FTC regulations).

  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems, sales technology platforms, and analytics tools.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support franchise development initiatives.

The base compensation range for this position is $165,000 to $175,00 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
