Duties may include: De-watering lagoons and deep pits in swine facility. General maintenance on pumping equipment, i.e. grease bearings, fix hoses, service pump tractor. Light machinery operation, i.e. unroll pumping hose, set up pumping gun. Operate tractor to disc and rip edges of pumping area and to pull slurry tank to apply manure to field. Perform shop and equipment maintenance & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
