Eaton Corporation Program Manager II - Cybersecurity in Hadapsar, India

What you’ll do:

Eaton is seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to Lead the program management function within the Global Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (COE) at our Pune location. This role will directly lead, mentor, and develop a team of Program Managers while driving enterprise-wide product cybersecurity initiatives and transformational process improvements. As a strategic partner to senior leadership, this individual will be accountable for portfolio-level program governance, resource optimization across multiple concurrent initiatives, and establishing best practices that scale across Eaton's Global R&D Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical acumen in cybersecurity with exceptional program & people leadership capabilities, shaping the future direction of our cybersecurity programs while promoting a high-performing, engaged team culture. LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT

Lead and develop a high‑performing, inclusive Program Management team by driving talent growth, performance excellence, leadership development, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

STRATEGIC PROGRAM GOVERNANCE

• Own the portfolio-level roadmap for cybersecurity program initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and business priorities.

• Establish, standardize, and enforce program management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across the team.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical program risks, issues, and high-impact decisions requiring executive attention.

• Present program status, strategic recommendations, and resource requirements to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Drive strategic planning and contribute to long-term organizational vision for the Cybersecurity COE.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE & PERFORMANCE

• Oversee and optimize resource allocation, workload balancing, and capacity planning across multiple concurrent programs and initiatives.

• Champion operational efficiency through process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Own key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, providing visibility into program health, team performance, and delivery metrics.

• Identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and drive root cause analysis for process improvements.

• Support the PCCOE budgeting actvities.

TECHNICAL & COMPLIANCE LEADERSHIP

• Ensure all programs maintain compliance with Eaton Cybersecurity Standards, drive Industry certifications of select programs (e.g., IEC 62443, UL 2900) and support evolving compliance to regulatory requirements.

• Partner with technical teams to align workflow tools, technologies, and platforms with product cybersecurity goals.

• Champion adoption of emerging technologies including AI/ML to enhance program delivery, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

• Well versed with the modern SW project execution methodologies eg. Scaled Agile Frameworks(SAFE), Agile, DevSecOps, Ci/CD, Secure SDLC etc.

• Solid Experience setting up workflows and reporting mechanisms using JIRA, ServiceNow, JAMA, Doors, Swarmiya, etc.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with division leaders, engineering teams, and global stakeholders.

• Drive alignment, communication, and collaboration across geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.

• Represent the Cybersecurity COE in executive forums, steering committees, and strategic planning discussions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited institution (Required).

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related technical field (Strongly Preferred).

• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive work experience in program/project management or related fields.

• At least 7 years in leadership roles managing major programs, projects, or cross-functional initiatives.

• Minimum 3 years of direct experience managing and developing Program Managers or Project Managers.

• Demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale, complex programs on time and within budget.

• Deep experience in cybersecurity, new product development (NPD), or SW Engineering operations.

• Solid understanding of software and firmware development lifecycles and operations.

• Experience with portfolio management and enterprise program governance frameworks.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and certifications (IEC 62443, UL 2900, ISO 27001).

• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid program management methodologies.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required; additional certifications (CSM, CSPO, SAFe) are a plus.

• Experience with Product Cybersecurity operations (e.g., Threat Modeling, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture).

• Proficiency with program/project management tools such as Jira, Kanbanize, Microsoft Project, ServiiceNow.

• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with geographically distributed teams, Culturally savy in working globally.

• Background in regulated industries or compliance-driven environments.
