Eaton Corporation Engineer - Mechanical Design in Hadapsar, India
What you’ll do:
This role is part of Filtration engineering team at Eaton innovation center in Pune. The primary responsibilities will include design, development and sustenance engineering of industrial, hydraulic and life science filters
What are the responsibilities?
• Create manufacturing drawings / BOMs for filter solutions, elements, tools as well as the necessary product documentation in Creo, Autocad and MS office tools.
• Engineering, drafting and modeling responsibility for ETOs and NPIs
• Support development of product sizing and selection tools, as well as development and / or enhancement of standard working procedures
• Work closely and collaboratively with global engineering teams.
• Possess communication, CAD, and drafting skills.
• Completes other engineering related assignment as directed.
• Provides appropriate technical assistance to other value streams like supply chain, sales etc.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in product design, CAD, 3D modeling, and manufacturing. Experience in fabrication and pressure vessel design is preferred
Skills:
• Requires in depth knowledge of drafting and modelling standards. Exposure to tool design, manufacturing design is preferred.
• Good understanding of engineering process needs in design and operations, key business drivers and industry practices
• Excellent communication skills to articulate strategies and drive a coordinated action plan.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly to stake holders.
• Strong solid modelling skills preferably in Creo. Must have knowledge of Autocad.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and multitasking are essential.
• Self-starter and highly motivated to achieve results with limited direct supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, a proficiency in MS Office
