Hackensack Meridian Health Supervisor Nurse Practitioner VAD Mechanical Circulatory Support Program in Hackensack, New Jersey
The Supervisor, VAD and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program is designated to lead the development, implementation, and management of the VAD and Circulatory patient population for inpatient and outpatient clinical setting. This role includes managing the regulatory requirements of the VAD DSC, clinical competency requirements, on call coverage and strategic program growth. Responsibilities include oversight for daily operations of the mechanical circulatory support program and clinical team supporting the program.
Prior experience with LVAD and Mechanical Circulatory Support required.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing. 2. Maintains clinical competencies through participating in continuing educational programs (contact hours per years), and clinical practice as mandated by Board of Nursing and national certification body. 3. Critical care and VAD patient management experience >5 years. 4. Experience in relevant patient care setting or as regulations dictate. 5.
Prior experience with LVAD and Mechanical Circulatory Support required.
Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. 2. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. 3. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification. 4. NJ Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner. 5. Maintains National or Board Certification as appropriate in area of specialty. 6. Collaborative agreement with physician(s) actively on staff who agree to act as the Collaborating Physician(s) of Record as per the APN Act and Regulations.

Minimum rate of $153,732.80 Annually
