About the Role
We are seeking apart-time Director of Nursing (RN)who shares our values and passion for serving elders and building a best-in-class care team. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate seekingconsistent, predictable hours, alow-stress care setting,andmission-drivenandmeaningful part-time workthat can grow into a full-time leadership role as the agency scales.
This role offers a hybrid schedule—with time split between our Bergen County office, field visits to clients’ homes or facilities, and remote work. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, compassionate, andcomfortable being available after hours for clinical emergencies(on-call rotation to be determined as team grows).
Key Responsibilities
Collaboratewith clients, families, and colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans
Conducthome visitsandsite assessmentsto evaluate client needs and ensure care plan compliance
Documentand adjust care plans based on observed client health or behavior changes
Serve as theclinical liaisonbetween the agency, clients, and families to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues
Participate in thehiring, training, and supervisionof Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) and other care staff
Support the Recruiter with conducting new hireorientationandskills assessments
Assistwith buildingtrust and relationshipsin the community by participating in or leadinglunch-and-learns, health talks, and community engagement eventsat local assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospices, and physician practices
Ensure compliance withNew Jersey regulations, agency policies, and accreditation standards
Assist in preparing forCommission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC)compliance and audits
Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with NJ requirements
Qualifications
RN licensein good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Gerontology, Health Services, or a related fieldOR2+ years’ experience in geriatrics or care management
Previous RN experience (home care preferred)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical judgment skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel within Bergen County required)
First Aid/CPR certified(or willing to obtain upon hire)

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
