Position: Greenhouse Worker
Requirements: No experience needed. Position will require Frequent Stooping or bending over with repetitive movements.
Job Description: Inspect, grade, sort, store, and post-harvest treatment of crops; set up/operate irrigation equipment; identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers; clean work areas; maintain grounds and landscaping; regulate
greenhouse conditions and indoor/outdoor irrigation systems; feel plants' leaves and note their coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease; assist the public regarding the selection, purchase, and care of products; maintain/repair irrigation and climate control systems; dig, cut, and transplant seedlings, cuttings, trees, and shrubs; record information about plants and plant growth; maintain inventory; order materials as required; move containerized shrubs, plants, and trees, using wheelbarrows or tractors; tie/bunch flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees, wrap
their roots, and pack them into boxes to fill orders; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; plant, spray, weed, fertilize, water, and prune plants, shrubs, and trees, using gardening tools.
Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week: 40
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Anticipated Period of Employment: 3-15-26 to 9-30-26
