Senior QA Analyst - SQL,SSRS, Crystal Reports
We are looking for Senior QA Analysts to validate and certify Private Equity reports built using Crystal Reports and SSRS . This role focuses on data correctness, report accuracy, format correctness, parameter behavior, and regression validation , ensuring that client‑specific customizations meet both business and technical expectations.
QA plays a critical role in the Client Custom model by validating each layer—from stored procedures to JSON configuration and final rendered output.
Key Responsibilities
Perform end‑to‑end validation of Client Custom reports across data, configuration, and presentation layers.
Validate SQL Server stored procedure outputs , including:
Parameter handling
Aggregations and grouping logic
Data scoping by client, fund, investor, and as‑of date
Test Crystal Reports and SSRS for:
Layout accuracy
Conditional sections and formulas
Header/footer and branding behavior
Validate JSON configuration files and ensure correct binding to reports and datasets.
Execute regression testing to confirm that copied or reused components have no residual dependencies from source reports.
Compare report outputs against source systems to ensure accuracy.
Document defects clearly and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
Support UAT and production deployment activities as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7–8 years of QA experience in data‑driven or reporting‑centric systems .
Strong hands‑on experience testing:
Crystal Reports
SSRS
SQL Server stored procedures
Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation.
Experience validating financial or investment reporting , preferably in Private Equity.
Strong understanding of report parameters, calculations, and aggregation logic.
Experience with QA Automation frameworks.
Nice to Have
Experience with investor reporting, NAV validation, or capital reporting.
Familiarity with batch reporting, PDF generation, and multi‑report packaging.
Exposure to production support and root‑cause analysis.
