Description

The Senior Specialist - HR Operations will lead a team of 4 Reps – HR Operations and is responsible for cross-functional administrative support within the overall HR Operations team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides cross functional administrative support within the overall HR Operations team

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all HR disciplines

  • Identifies opportunities for automation and reduction of manual processes and partner with teams on implementation of solutions

  • Develops employees and encourages positive employee engagement

  • Evolve HR Operations service delivery model by assessing performance/SLAs and keeping a constant focus on improving the employee experience

Should be comfortable working in the US working hours (night shift).

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Human Resources, related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of related experience in a Human Resources or Customer Service function

  • Familiarity with Company policies and guidelines

  • Understanding of Federal and State HR laws and regulations

  • Working knowledge of currentJCBA’s

  • Understanding of Discretion and Confidentiality

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deal with complex issues

  • Ability to make rational, realistic decisions using good reasoning and sound judgment

  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with a strong employee advocacy orientation

  • Professional demeanor with excellent and timely follow-up with employees/business partners

  • Must be self-motivated and have an enhanced ability to prioritize/plan in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to have a sensitive approach to difficult situations

  • Well organized with the strong ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Ability to comfortably interact with all levels within the organization

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Preferred 3-5 years of professional exposure in an HR department

  • Experience with Service Now preferred

  • Relevant industry experience preferred
