Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Senior Site Engineer – Terminal Building & Support Building Façade for multiple upcoming airport projects across Pan India. The Senior Site Engineer – Terminal Building & Support Building Façade will be responsible for supervising and managing on-site façade installation works for airport terminal buildings and associated support facilities. This includes curtain wall systems, glazing, aluminum cladding, metal panels, skylights, louvers, and other façade elements.
The role ensures that façade works are executed in accordance with approved design drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The Senior Site Engineer will coordinate with façade consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure proper installation, quality assurance, and timely completion of façade packages.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day façade construction and installation activities for terminal and support buildings.
Ensure façade works such as curtain walls, glazing systems, cladding panels, louvers, and skylights are installed as per approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with façade contractors, consultants, architects, and structural engineers for proper execution of façade systems.
Monitor installation progress and ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with façade system specifications.
Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to façade works.
Ensure proper coordination between façade systems and structural, architectural, and MEP elements.
Monitor testing activities including water penetration tests, structural performance tests, and mock-up approvals.
Maintain site documentation including inspection records, installation reports, and quality checklists.
Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices at the site.
Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of completed façade systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in façade construction and installation for large-scale commercial, infrastructure, or airport projects.
Experience in façade systems such as unitized curtain walls, stick systems, aluminum cladding, structural glazing, and metal panel systems .
Strong understanding of façade installation methodologies, quality control procedures, and façade performance standards.
Familiarity with façade shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of construction safety standards and façade-related installation guidelines.
Proficiency in MS Office and construction documentation tools.
