Pet Nutrition Regional Logistics Manager- West and North in Gurugram, India
Job Purpose/Overview
This role is required for daily operations of multiple DCs and CFAs across the country, to ensure daily customer orders can be fulfilled. High dependence for ensuring good CSL and quality control across the downward supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Operations Manages or performs work associated with two or more of the following: •Logistics Planning & Optimization •Warehouse & Distribution Center Operations (Warehouse, Warehouse Shipping & Receiving, Distribution Center, Distribution Inbound/Outbound, Materials Handling, etc.) •Transportation & Fleet Operations (Transportation Operations, Fleet Management, Light Truck Delivery Drivers, Heavy Truck Delivery Drivers, etc.)
Customer service for GT operations Collaborating with regional sales team to drive fulfilment of demand, understanding demand changes during the period, visibility for supply glitches, designing period closing plan along with sales and ensuring compliance on the same.
Cost Delivery : The role owns a huger part of LCC cost. The role requires ownership of cost elements related to storage, freight to customer, handling and miscellaneous costs. The role required close coordination with indirect commercial to drive effective negotiation with multiple partners across the regions.
Quality & Compliance : This role is the owner of ensuring the establishment of right quality standards in our operations, not on at WH but through the entire value chain of distribution. The role is expected to drive accountability of inventory and compliance at the DC and depots across the country and drive and improvise the SOP required to standardize it. (LRQA audits, QID audits, IPM audit, inventory accuracy cycle count and W2W annual counting exercise.
Job Specifications /Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualifications- MBA , Graduate or Equivalent Degree
Knowledge / Experience - 3-5 years
